Austin Symphonic Band Concert: Musical Portraits

In celebration of Black History Month, the Austin Symphonic Band will feature a performance of Aaron Copland’s Lincoln Portrait, narrated by Austin’s Tim O’Brien. ASB will also perform a medley from The Sound of Music on its 50th anniversary. Additional selections create vivid musical portraits of people and places that will stir the imagination. ASB Music Director Richard Floyd conducts.
