Inspired by the need to foster creativity during challenging times, Austin Shakespeare is bringing back its playwriting class. The four-week online class begins Wednesday, May 27, and is available by contacting info@AustinShakespeare.org.
The class will be taught by Austin Shakespeare Artistic Director Ann Ciccolella and culminate in an online showcase featuring professional actors performing dialogue from the scenes created during the class. “This class is great way to focus your creativity and deepen playwriting skills,” Ciccolella said. “We’ve had a good experience with this workshop series in the past and thought this was an ideal time to bring it back.”
