Auditions - The Importance of Being Earnest

No prepared monologue needed. Sides will be performed and will be sent a few days before your audition date. Please be familiar with the show and plan to stay a few minutes after your time as you may audition with others. Please bring headshot and resume. This is an open call to all actors. This celebrated classic follows the romantic misadventures of a pair of English cads who devise a double life in order to impress the strong-willed women whose hearts they hope to win. But when it is revealed that both friends are not entirely who they appear to be, a madcap comedy of teatime pitfalls, unexpected antics, and hilarious revelations ensues. Wilde’s delicious confection dazzles with ironic wit, comic invention, razor-sharp subtlety, and bold servings of characters who all discover the importance of being earnest.
