Artist Talk with Jacob Guzman

The Neill-Cochran House Museum has an art exhibition currently on display titled, Liberating Black Art, which highlights the cultural legacy of artists of color. One artist featured in this exhibition is young local artist, Jacob Guzman.
Jacob Guzman was born in 1994 in Austin, TX. He is self-taught and has been working with various mediums since an early age. Guzman depicts aspects of his daily life in his work, as well as past or current experiences, trauma and emotional struggles. He currently lives and works out of Austin, TX.
At Artist Talk with Jacob Guzman, the artist will discuss his background, his process, and his inspiration. The talk will be held in the Neill-Cochran House Museum Exhibit Room surrounded by Guzman’s artwork. Artwork will be available for purchase.
