This evening’s performance will feature Armenian folk and classical music performed on the santour, the Armenian national instrument, with piano and Armenian dhol (Armenian percussion) accompaniment with Armenian singer, invited from California.
Armenian santour maestro Sarkis Petrosyan, internationally acclaimed pianist Hamayag Hovanessian with Artour Galstyan. The Trio invite famous vocalist Armen Hovhannisyan from California. They will perform folk and Classical music which spans the Armenian tradition from the 12th century to the 20th century. The performers were classically trained at the Komitas State Conservatory.
