City of Austin Mayor, Steve Adler, will speak at the gala about the importance and role of tropical rainforests in addressing climate change.
May 9-15, 2019 will be proclaimed by the City of Austin as Rainforest Partnership’s Amazon in Austin Week. Learn about Rainforest Partnership’s work to protect and restore the Amazon rainforest on this special night.
This event supports community-based conservation projects in Peru and Ecuador that enable indigenous communities to preserve their forest.
