PRANCER by Tony Faia and Elizabeth Mims: Doug has a dead end job, a car ready to fall apart and the most elaborate satellite and computer set-up you’ve ever seen. He’s trying to keep his life together just long enough to contact aliens and convince them to abduct him-and lead him to a better life. His neighbor Cynthia doesn’t necessarily think this will work, but in Doug, she’s struck a gold mine. She’s a psychology student, and Doug’s obsession is perfect for her thesis paper.
