Inside Out welcomes back guest artist Dr. Mia Gormandy-Benjamin to perform with the Bowie High School Steelband and the McCallum High School Knights of Steel at One World Theatre.
Please join us for the 23rd Annual Inside Out Steelband Festival, welcoming back guest artist Dr. Mia Gormandy-Benjamin. Dr. Gormandy-Benjamin will perform with the Bowie High School Steelband and the McCallum High School Knights of Steel.
Dr. Gormandy-Benjamin is an Assistant Professor of Music at the University of Trinidad and Tobago. She attained a PhD in musicology from the Florida State University where her dissertation explored the steelband communities in Japan.
