The 21st Cine Las Americas Annual Film Festival presents international films and filmmakers, creates networking opportunities for industry professionals, and provides a rich cultural experience.
The 21st Annual Cine Las Americas International Film Festival is scheduled for May 2 – 6, 2018 in Austin, TX. Films will be presented at three primary partnership venues AFS Cinema, MASS Gallery, The Emma S. Barrientos Mexican American Cultural Center, as well as other venues in the capital city. Individual tickets for film screenings will be for sale at the box office of the AFS Cinema and MASS Gallery. The box office will open every day of the festival 45 minutes before the first screening of the day. Each day, the box office will sell tickets only for screenings scheduled for that day. Get the most out of the festival by becoming a Cine Las Americas Member. The Cine Las Americas Film Festival Member Badge grants the holder preferential access to all film screenings at the festival, and includes access to all festival parties, receptions, and special events. Forty percent of the festival’s screenings are free and open to the public, bringing a great opportunity for the Austin community to learn about different Latino and indigenous cultures, while enjoying an international selection of works of artistic excellence. All screenings presented at the Emma S. Barrientos (MACC), Nomad Bar, Originator Studios, and Mexic-Arte Museum are free and open to the public.
