Mean Eyed Cat is a tribute to both Johnny Cash and the owner’s father. It opened in September 2004 in the old Cut-Rite chainsaw shack and is surrounded by both a 300-year-old tree and whistling railroad tracks. Come on in and have a beer, grab a bite to eat, put a dollar in the jukebox, and let Johnny kick up some honky-tonk dust! Hours: Monday-Sunday 5:00pm-2:00am
Address : 1621 West Fifth Street, Austin, TX 78703
