Wm. Barrett Simms plays an eclectic mix of Americana ranging from blues, swing, folk, and jazz. Early in his music career, he focused on blues artists from the ‘50s and ‘60s such as Nina Simone and B.B. King. He transitioned to playing folk/rock such as James Taylor and The Band. The result is a guitar player and vocalist with an eclectic style of off-beat swing with engaging musical progressions.
