As a youth, I was full of the energy required to pursue my dream. The collapse of USSR destroyed my opportunities to work towards my dream there practically overnight. One day, I went to sleep full of joy, plans and hopes, but very next morning I awoke as foreigner in the country where I was born, raised, and lived. From that moment my home turned into unrecognizable place, was altered completely. The movie industry was destroyed and not only me, but everyone was being forced into a new environment due to the economic collapse. I had to develop some survival skills to solve problems that new life threw at me. I’ve entered a Medical School and started a medical career, but did not gave up my dream as actress and as soon I had the opportunity, I joined one and only existing acting school, the request of the Russian Theatre in Turkmenistan. There, the competition was high- only 15 students been chosen from over 300 candidates.

Twenty years ago, I made my first step being a theater play director and also play the roles as a professional actress. I learned the best secrets from Stanislavskiy and Nemerovish, Russia’s leading theatre directors. Local media wrote great articles about my first student Musical by Chekov, promising a future, but political disagreement made things difficult, Turkmenistan closed its borders with Russia, and the institute I’ve attended to continue my education as a movie director suddenly became inaccessible.
