    Yuliya Lanina is a multimedia artist whose work ranges from paintings and robotic sculptures to video and performance. She creates alternate realities in her works—ones based on sexuality, femininity, fetishism, and identity. Lanina’s honors include Fulbright (Vienna, Austria), Headlands Art Center (CA), and Yaddo Colony (NY). Exhibitions include SXSW (TX), Seoul Art Museum (Korea), SIGGRAPH (Japan), 798 Beijing Biennial (China), Cleveland Institute of Art (OH), Museum Ludwig (Germany) and Moscow Museum of Modern Art (Russia). She is currently an Assistant Professor of Practice at the Department of Arts and Entertainment Technologies at The University of Texas at Austin.

    Allison Lash is a multi-media artist, educator, photographer, and mother. She earned her BFA from The University at Buffalo, NY; MFA from Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University, NJ; and her visual arts teaching certification through an accelerated program at Studio in a School with the Pratt Institute, NYC. Studio in a School’s philosophy includes modeling the artist’s way of thinking and working inspired by the pedagogy of Reggio Emilia. Awesome Art! began as an arts enrichment program for elementary aged students after school at Brentwood Elementary School and during the summer at The Corner School at The Texas Association of School Boards.  Allison is an expert in art concepts, techniques and materials, and she provides an engaging space where students express themselves while building self-confidence, exploring art materials and techniques. While a New York State certified visual arts educator (K-12th grade), Allison worked with children of all ages, levels and skills, working with students (including Special Education and English Language Learning students), families and staff in visual arts (and Advisory) at public schools throughout New York City.  At the Department of Education in NYC, she was an Arts Education Liaison at two different schools working with administration to ensure that all students were engaged in arts education.  Additionally, Allison taught photography and art making at the college level as an adjunct instructor at Rutgers University, NJ; The County College of Morris, NJ; and at William Paterson University, NJ. Allison Lash received awards from The National Gallery of Art in Washington, D.C., The Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, NY; and from Rutgers University, NJ.   She’s also earned teaching grants from The Cultural Funding division of The City of Austin, Studio in a School, The Young Women’s Leadership Foundation, Fund for Teachers, Queens Council on the Arts, The Plank Fellowship, and the Lincoln Center Institute/Dana Foundation.

    Joel Laviolette is a composer, educator, builder and connector based in Austin, Texas. His musical experience spans genres and crosses borders, weaving in elements from electronica to African marimba and mbira traditions. Joel’s rich musical past has shaped his present-day focus on fusing varying musical styles into his compositions. As the Founder and Artistic Director of the Rattletree School of Marimba in Austin, Joel and his wife Rakefet ran the brick-and-mortar school until 2018. At that time, Joel transitioned his teaching to be primarily online on Patreon so that he can give more focused attention to his international students. With over 1,000 live shows performed to date, Joel’s unique style is informed by his love for mbira music and modern-day electronica. Joel is the artistic director of Rattletree, a two-time Austin Music Award-winning world electronica group that combines Zimbabwean musical traditions with ethereal synth sounds in a truly unique live show experience. As the artistic visionary for Rattletree, Joel incorporates cutting-edge video projection mapping technologies to create a one-of- a-kind blend of audio and video media for live shows. His custom synth work combines the visual and the audio in an unparalleled sonic experience for audiences and music professionals alike.     Court Lurie has been exhibiting nationally for over 15 years. Her work has been featured in many design and lifestyle magazines, on television, and in several industry publications. She has been commissioned for public and private installations, and is represented by 5 galleries in the US. She has received several awards including the esteemed Juror’s Award from Gladys Nielson at Womanmade Gallery in Chicago. She was awarded fellowships and did residencies from the Jentel and Brush Creek Foundations and was an Artist in Residence this summer at the Kimmel Harding Nelson Center for the Arts. Her work hangs in public and private collections around the country from the University of New Mexico Hospital to Austin City Hall, the Westin and Four Seasons Hotels, and Bergstrom International Airport.
