Paramount TheatreThe Paramount Theatre has a rich history, having been a home to vaudeville, silent movies, "talkies," music, dance, and Broadway shows for the last 90 years. This venue is one of the few theatres that still exist out of the 1,200 theatres that were designed by John Eberson of Chicago in the early 1900s. Today, the theatres offers theatrical performances of all kinds for viewers of all ages, including a Broadway series of plays and a children's series featuring works such as Charlotte's Web, The Wizard of Oz, and The Velveteen Rabbit. |

Harry Ransom CenterConsidered one of the world's finest cultural archives, the Harry Ransom Center houses 30 million literary manuscripts, 1 million rare books, 5 million photographs, and over 100,000 visual artworks. Highlights include the Gutenberg Bible and the world's first photograph. The Center is used extensively for research and presents numerous exhibitions and events each year showcasing its collections. |

Austin Music HallThe Austin Music Hall is Austin's premier concert and special event facility. The building's art-deco interior creates a first class atmosphere for over 3,000 people. Austin Music Hall hosts concerts and upscale private and corporate events. |

Alamo Drafthouse - South LamarThe Alamo Drafthouse Cinema is Austin's only independently owned and operated movie theater chain. They serve a full menu of dinner and drinks. The theater is laid out like a traditional movie theater, except every other row of seats has been replaced with a long narrow table for your food and drinks. They recommend arriving early; seating begins 45 minutes before the show and there is always pre-movie entertainment on the screen while waiting. They have waiters that serve people at your seat; orders before the movie begins are taken in the traditional way. |
