Texas Capitol

The 1888 Capitol is the working seat of Texas government. Including its new underground Extension, it is the largest statehouse in the nation. The building houses an impressive collection of historical Texas artwork and antique furnishings. Ten spaces have been returned to their turn-of-the-century appearance. Hours: Monday-Friday 7:00am-10:00am, Saturday and Sunday 9:00am-8:00pm Price: Free Admission
