Sawyer’s work aims to create spaces of reflection and contemplation with structures that are visually accessible, yet physically unapproachable. Index for Contemplation is a constellation of interrelated objects that form a field of reverberating color, shape and form, which coexist and play off architecture of the Austin Convention Center.
