Teacher – Teaches performance art in dance, music, poetry and Integral Hatha yoga to both and children and adults in workshop or apprenticeship programs at his studio and throughout the community
He has created the Earth & Sky & You Project, a three-pronged Community cultural event project that includes
*Children’s performance workshop in libraries, elementary or middle schools
*Concert presentation of Mr. Llanes’ artistic work at Dougherty Cultural Arts Center
*The Circle Gathering that unites Earth & Sky & You – Community cultural event at the Texas State Capitol Rotunda on the last Sunday in April

In collaboration with PODER (People Organized in Defense of Earth and her Recourses), Daniel created “Learning & Living with Mother Earth”, a comprehensive Arts Environmental Awareness program utilizing poetry, music and dance. It includes a children’s workshop with field trips and classroom activities, a media component and a performance presentation that delivers an Environmental Justice message through public service announcements and a theatrical presentation. Folk Healer - Mr. Llanes is a practitioner of traditional Aztec healing techniques and plant medicine, specializing in the use of the Temascal, the medicinal Aztec sweat lodge. He is a 3rd degree Reike Master, is adept in Mahikari, lying of hands and deep tissue cell memory release work.
