About the artist: About the artist: Mary J. Baird and Garreth Wilcock are married artists, creative types and visionaries.
Their recent project, The Hamster WheelMobile is a giant human-powered hamster art car, propelled by four human sized hamster wheels with men and women in business suits and ties inside and chasing after a giant mobile wedge of cheese. The art car poses the question: "what cheese are
you chasing after in life?"
The Hamster WheelMobile was featured at First Night Austin 2007.
Garreth's "Ant Brigade" was one of the art car attractions at First Night Austin 2006.
