Folklore y Ritmos was founded in 2002 by Marta McInnis, who serves as director and choreographer. The dance company is a vehicle for cultural exchange that pays tribute to its members’ Panamanian roots and traditions. The dance ensemble’s countless performances across Texas showcases costumes corresponding to the different Panamanian regions represented in the various dances. It also has formed a junior ensemble to instill the love for the culture within its young members. Highlights of
