Stubb's Restaurant and Waller Creek Amphitheatre

    Comment on Facebook

In the 1970's, Stubb's restaurant became the heart of an explosive music scene. Stubbs was ground zero for musicians like Joe Ely and Stevie Ray Vaughn. Other famous musicians who would "play for their supper" included Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Willie Nelson, Johnny Cash, Robert Cray, George Thorogood, Clarence "Gatemouth" Brown, Linda Ronstadt and the Fabulous Thunderbirds. Although small in size, Stubb's Restaurant was always filled with good friends, great music and plenty of Stubb's Legendary Bar-B-Q.

Stubb's BBQ is legendary for the amazing acts that have graced our stage within the past few years. From Hip Hop to Country, Rock and Roll to Singer Songwriter, Indie Rock to Electronica, we love them all. If you are a local/regional band or a booking agent looking to get your band into Stubb's BBQ please send a small press kit or CD to: Brooke Wirth, 98 San Jacinto Blvd. Ste. 430. Austin, TX 78701 For all national act inquiries please send materials to: Amy Corbin, 98 San Jacinto Blvd. Ste. 430, Austin, TX 78701 For electronic press kits or questions regarding booking at Stubb's BBQ please email us at hello@capresents.com
