The broad mission of DiverseArts Production Group is to promote and expand cultural awareness and appreciation of the arts in Austin, Texas. Through various component projects, DiverseArts addresses the arts, in general, with a view that is multicultural and multidisciplinary in scope. However, their strongest programming efforts are directed to the traditional music and culture of African Americans.
