Gallery owner Joe Sigel came to Austin eight years ago after owning galleries in Santa Fe and California for twelve years. Spacious and museum-like, ART on 5th is a truly comfortable gallery. The gallery features not only famous artists like Dr. Seuss, Miro and Picasso, but also a collection of outstanding undiscovered artists from around the world who may be tomorrow's stars in the art world. "Eclectic" and "colorful" is the best way to describe ART on 5th. From more traditional art by impressionist artists such as Leonard Wren, Royo and Marilyn Simandle to the contemporary impressionism of Hessam and Jamali, each room in this large gallery is impressive.
