Austin Sister Cities International

The Beautiful City of Austin, Texas has been actively involved in International Sister Cities for over forty years. The Music Capital of the World, Austin is a leading city in commerce, education, and international tourism. Our Sister Cities committees consist of citizen diplomats, volunteering their own time to host events, plan and conduct programs, assist City staff in hosting international delegations and local elected officials participating in official delegations abroad. Austin Sister Cities International, Inc. was created in 1990, at the City's request, to assist in coordinating, documenting, promoting and encouraging the work of all of our wonderful Sister Cities volunteer participants.
