Comment on Facebook The Blue Theatre is a versatile performance space on the East side of Austin which opened in Summer 2000. The BLUE is dedicated to creating a multi-arts center for artists of all disciplines and serves as an ardent advocate of new and established works, and a home to the socially and fiscally responsive pursuit of art. The BLUE houses two performances spaces: A 99-seat capable proscenium thrust Mainstage with auditorium seating ideal for studio, performance, auditions, events, and workshops and a 40-seat capable SecondStage Studio ideal for installation, exhibit, rehearsal, and performance.
