Dougherty Arts School

The Dougherty Arts Center is an award-winning Cultural Arts Center that offers a variety of visual and performing arts experiences for a broad audience through its three programming components: DAC Theater, the Julia C. Butridge Gallery and the Dougherty Arts School. Over the years, the Dougherty Arts School has been the recipient of many awards from the National Recreation and Parks Association and the Texas Recreation and Parks Society to the Austin Chronicle Readers Poll and Austin Family Magazine. The Arts School provides programming for ages 4 - adults.

    Creativity Club @ the Dougherty Arts School Dougherty Arts Center Creativity Club @ the Dougherty Arts School Presented by Dougherty Arts School at Dougherty Arts Center November 1, 2011-May 31, 2012 The Dougherty is excited to expand Creativity Club as an onsite after school program option. Creativity Clubs includes visual arts, theater and digital media using a process-oriented teaching approach. Van transportation is currently being offered for students enrolled at Matthews and Zilker elementary schools. A local area elementary school with 5 or more students enrolled in C-Club @ the DAC may request van transportation. Parents and guardians are welcome to enroll children and provide...
