Austin Actors Conservatory

Austin Actors Conservatory provides ongoing workshops on the business of SHOW and the business of Show BUSINESS to all industry groups at various levels of experience.

The Conservatory, formed in 2008 by a dedicated group of professional actors and members of the Screen Actors Guild, strives to bring educational and networking opportunities to all of the moving image industry and help raise the bar of professional talent in south Texas.

TO BECOME A MEMBER OF AAC YOU MUST:
BE A CURRENT PAID-UP MEMBER OF SCREEN ACTORS GUILD (SAG) OR AMERICAN FEDERATION OF TELEVISION AND RADIO ARTISTS (AFTRA) AND PAY ANNUAL ACC DUES OF $25 (Annual Dues Payment is accepted in the form of CASH or CHECK. Checks should be made out to the SAG Conservatory).Annual, renewable membership period is Jan. 1 to Dec. 31.

AS A MEMBER OF AAC YOU WILL RECEIVE:
• All AAC seminars Free ($20 -$40 for non-members)
• Discounted Workshops (Full price for non-members)
• Participation in Script to Screen Program (members only)
• Invitations to “Industry Only” events (members only)
• Special cold reading sessions with casting directors (members only)

Supporters of the AAC may fill out an application to become FANS of the AAC which will allow them to receive special invites to future industry events and discounts on various workshops.
