Austin Shakespeare Festival's annual presentation of Shakespeare Under the Stars takes an inventive approach to some of Shakespeare’s “greatest hits” – six Romeos and six Juliets in the immortal balcony scene; all of the Bard's cross-dressing women comparing notes on playing men; Jack Falstaff as Jack Bauer in a Shakespearean spin on "24"; soliloquies from Hamlet's cat and Shakespeare's dog; and much, much more Each night, a different guest will be brought on stage to share a bit of Shakespeare with the crowd: James Loehlin on May 19; Andrea Ariel on May 20; Michael Barnes on May 25; Mystery Guest on May 26, and Josh Watkins on May 27.
