La Caja Museo Contemporáneo de Arte (The Box Contemporary Museum of Art), curated by Martha Papadimitriou, is a museum inside a museum. La Caja is made up of two parts: the Huge and the Small. Featuring prominent contemporary artists from Mexico, The Huge is an exhibition of twenty-one “regular” size paintings and sculptures displayed in a traditional museum gallery, and the Small is a miniature contemporary museum.
