In 2008 a woman may be the 'Queen of Daytime' and we may see a woman be the leader of the free world, but will we see a truly funny leading lady? As women are making strides in many fields, women in comedy still have a ways to go until Tina Fey and Amy Poehler are headlining movies and making money like Will Ferrell and Ben Stiller. The women of Texas are working on it. And they'll be out in full force at the second annual Ladies Are Funny Festival (LAFF).
