The concert features opera arias from Puccini’s La Boheme and music by Dick Hyman including a wonderful arrangement of “Moonglow.” Also on the program are Gershwin favorites, jazz arrangements of classical compositions, more opera arias and duets from the movies, and a few surprises. To set the scene, Los Angeles television producer Richard MacDonald will give a short talk about film music.
