In celebration of the 20th year in the Eye of the Storm, Vortex Repertory Company presents a new production of one of its all-time greatest hits, Beirut by Alan Bowne, directed by Bonnie Cullum. Originally written by the late Alan Bowne, this dangerous love story is set in a not-too-distant future time of virulent plague. Beirut draws striking parallels with the current global AIDS crisis and other contagions that continually threaten personal intimacy and cultural stability. Helpful Information: Mature audiences, full nudity and sexually explicit material. Bring two items of non-perishable food on Thursdays and receive 2 tickets for the price of one!
