Lily Plants a Garden is an inspiring and timely allegory about a child who brings hope to troubled times. The Young Girl who narrates this story is a child in a war zone who uses her imagination to comfort herself as she escapes into a world where she can make sense of things. In her fictional tale, she makes up a conflict between two cultures and a child name Lily who is caught in the middle. Through her imagination, beautiful garden, and new friends, the Young Girl is able to find hope during troubling times.
