Austin Children’s Museum will host The Heart Gallery of Central Texas, which displays photos of foster children in protective custody. The Adoption Coalition of Texas has coordinated this gallery of stirring portraits that reveal the amazing spirits and individuality of children in foster care. Many of the children featured in the gallery are older or special needs children or members of a sibling group, and considered “hard-to-place” in permanent homes. 50 photographers participated in shooting their portraits that will be on display throughout the season.
