      Will Klemm has his head in the clouds and stars in
      his eyes and with this show he took me there with
      him. Will Klemm is a master of pastel. How he can
      take a thick soft smeary... Expand

      Will Klemm has his head in the clouds and stars in his eyes and with this show he took me there with him. Will Klemm is a master of pastel. How he can take a thick soft smeary stick and use it with such knife-like presision is awing on it's own but it is only the foundation for his visionary landscapes, clouds, starry twilights, and fruit- I swear one of his pieces shold be called "Ode to a Pear". His understanding and use of light is glorious. His serene, deceptively simple, works take you to that moment in an ordinary day when you you look up at the sky, or the sun coming through the window or the trees, and you are suddenly exhilarated by how dazzlingly wonderful the world is- where suddenly you see again, the light. And, he makes a cheesecake to die for. Collapse

      Will Klemm has his head in the clouds and stars in his eyes and with this show he took me there with him. Will Klemm is a master of pastel.
