THEATRE

The Gun Powder Plot
September 27-September 29, 2007
Add Review/CommentTroublePuppet is proud to announce its newest production-- a tale of political repression, terrorism, and religious intolerance in the year 1605. Performed with tabletop (bunraku-style) puppets, shadow images, masked actors and glove puppets, the story is based on an actual terrorist plot carried out by English Catholics against the Protestant regime of James I. It features a live score by Justin Sherburn. Laced with satire, violence, profanity and politics, it's not a show for children.
