Dale Easton's The Drunkard

Avg. Event Rating (4.0 Stars):Add Review/Comment | Read Reviews/Comments
Dale Easton’s The Drunkard which pokes fun at the old meller-drammer and adds to the mix a generous dollop of vaudeville and burlesque comedy. Unlike any other melodrama, The Drunkard is best described as a funhouse version of the old melodrama combined with standup comedy, baggy-pants burlesque, improv and farce. And there is a traditional “olio” show featuring songs and vaudeville comedy following the melodrama itself. For 27 years, this show has been a staple in the midwest and now, for the first time ever, you have a chance to see this legendary laugh fest right here! Fun for the whole family... come out and hiss, boo and cheer!! A special treat for opening night only: see the restoration artists Karen Hastings and Phil Grecian in Olio entertainment that will be seen only on opening night and meet them after the show!!
