VISUAL ARTS

Jan Heaton
July 28-August 25, 2007
Add Review/CommentWorking in watercolor on 100% cotton paper exclusively, the construction of space is an additive process accomplished with fluid layers of transparent washes that slowly build to a form. The forms evolve as they are influenced by the unexpected drips, splatters and splashes that are characteristic of the medium. Often the forms move slowly, as if the music had suddenly changed.
