Add Review/CommentTwo one-act plays Suddenly Last Summer and Something Unspoken will be performed at Different Stages. Suddenly Last Summer is Tennessee Williams' provocative 1958 play concerning the mysterious death of Sebastian Venable, the sordid truth that could destroy his reputation, and the lengths to which his mother will go to keep it secret forever. Its companion piece, Something Unspoken, reveals the deeply buried feelings behind the facades of a wealthy Southern grand dame and the mousy widow who has served as her secretary for 15 years.
