Winner of four Outer Circle Critics Awards, including Best Off Broadway Musical in its original New York production, this hilarious international hit is a sure pleaser! The show is a fund raiser put on by the Little Sisters of Hoboken to raise money to bury sisters accidentally poisoned by the convent cook, Sister Julia (Child of God). A proven winner, Nunsense appeals to people of most religions and backgrounds. With its wonderful songs, great jokes, and audience participation, we recommend making your reservations early so you won't be caught without a seat when it sells out!

      Nuns as hoofers? Nuns as jokesters? Nuns as raucous story tellers? These five wonderfully cast actresses do it all, backed by male musicians thinly disguised as nuns, themselves (ever seen a nun with a beard?). Imagine the sight of these sober-clad ladies grinning, wearing bright-colored tap shoes and stomping up a storm. They provide absurdly wonderfully entertainment. The Georgetown Palace shovels out high quality musicals and popular entertainment at a tremendous rate. It’s a serious rival to the Zach Scott Theatre in Austin in quality and variety, without Zach’s advantages or location. This is a real “community theatre,” depending on contributions of many volunteers, business support, and non-equity artists. And I didn't mention -- for what you get, the tickets are really, really inexpensive!
