    The Chamber Music of Telemann

Presented by at Louise T. Peter Center

    May 28, 2007

    The Chamber Music of Telemann

Guinness World Records lists Georg Philipp Telemann as the world’s most prolific composer, with over 3,000 pieces. Even more admirable than the quantity of music is its spontaneity, creativity and overall musical excellence. One can understand why, in his time, Telemann was considered the greatest composer in Germany, far surpassing Bach. Join the artists of La Follia Austin Baroque for a sampling of this vast treasure of instrumental and vocal work.
