ZACH presents a fresh, bi-lingual (English/Spanish), re-invention of this popular rock opera inspired by a photography book of rural home altars throughout Mexico. These private shrines have profound personal and familial meaning, linking ancient traditions with modern customs. Likewise, ZACH’s production will synthesize ancient and modern images with traditional and current Mexican musical styles to illuminate new personal truths and discoveries for everyone who call Central Texas home. ZACH’s cast of 26 powerhouse singers will raise the roof this summer with Andrew Lloyd Webber’s classic. Performance Location: Kleberg Stage

Awesome performances. Costumes were fabulous. Music was outstanding. John Pointer was outstanding as Judas. Have recommended the show to all my friends and family. I plan to see it again and again.

Great music, great staging and a wonderful cast. I saw it opening night and went back the next day to see it again. The second act is a bit intense, but the elementary age kids in the audience liked... Expand
