The imagination of American Jazz ignited a cross-continental fire of creativity among a diverse crowd of classical composers. Homegrown American vernacular meets European classical style on this program that explores Ravel's opium-induced blues, Stravinsky's quirky ragtime, Weill's wayward cabaret, Poulenc's sultry chansons and the rhythmic voices of Bernstein and Gershwin. Performance Location: (4\21) Private Home Location, RSVP and the address will be given.
