love conjure/blues Text Installation
June 15-June 23, 2007
Add Review/CommentThe Statesman’s Jeanne Claire van Ryzin hails how Bridgeforth has merged her award-winning rhythmic spoken-word monologue, published in 2004, with a film collage by Philadelphia artist Jen Simmons to create a multimedia installation with live narration and music by composer Helga Davis. This installation offers an interactive environment that welcomes the audience as responsible witness-participants, while bringing to life the reality created in the love conjure/blues text that the past, present, future, dead, living, and unborn coexist and tell the story in concert. Helpful Information: Tickets are available at the door in the ticket info window.
