The Department of Theatre and Dance at UT Austin will host a free teaching artist symposium in the Winship Drama Building. The event, entitled Building Community: Bridging Education and Artistry, will be a day of learning and exploring for artists, educators, and creative community members interested in the intersections of education and the arts in schools and communities. Symposium activities will include free workshops, networking opportunities, and a keynote address. Lunch will be provided free of charge to the first fifty registrants.
