When a young couple enters an ominous plantation home in Alabama, they are confounded by a deluge of their ancestor’s past. A world premiere by former Austin playwright Abi Bausch, Voices Underwater dives into the ebb and flows of our country’s deep history of prejudice. A chillingly beautiful play, Voices Underwater confronts the ghosts of our past and wades through the depths of haunted hearts.
