Jeff Tweedy, lead singer of Wilco, former member of Uncle Tupelo, Loose Fur and a thousand super groups that exist only in hipster dreams will make his PAC debut when his solo tour stops at UT PAC's Hogg Memorial Auditorium on Tuesday, January 23rd with a second show on Wednesday January 24th!! Wilco released their fifth album A Ghost is Born in 2004, which won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Album. The following year, the band released their first live album, a two-disc set entitled Kicking Television, recorded in their hometown of Chicago. Wilco's sixth studio album is scheduled to be released in spring of 2007. During live solo performances, Tweedy draws from 200-plus songs with no particular set list in mind. These will be incredible, intimate evenings with a musical genius that can't be beat! Performance Location: This event will take place at the Hogg Memorial Auditorium.
