Founded by the New Mexico Children, Youth and Families Department in 2001, 'The Heart Gallery' is a way to help foster children in protective custody who are waiting for adoptive families step from the shadows into the light. The Adoption Coalition of Texas has coordinated 'The Heart Gallery of Central Texas' which displays stirring portraits of the children, revealing their amazing spirits and individuality. Many of these children have found loving homes through 'The Heart Gallery' exhibit. The photos will be donated to the children's adoptive families.
