The Love of China Summer Ballet Workshop

Sara Paul will be teaching a ballet technique class followed by a modified version of the Esmeralda variation from the ballet La Esmeralda. While the full ballet is almost never performed, the variation remains a staple for students.

Sara L. Paul is a member of the ballet faculty in The Department of Theatre and Dance at the University of Texas at Austin. She teaches ballet technique classes to students pursuing a B.F.A in Dance, as well as ballet for non-majors. Sara is a co-founder and co-leader of Austin Community Ballet, an organization that provides ballet technique classes for, and by, professional dancers and advanced students in the Austin area. Sara also teaches ballet to all ages and levels at Ballet Austin. There, she developed a program for adult beginning ballet that she continues to grow. Additionally, Sara can be found performing in local projects and performances.
