A Girl Named Sue is a story of love and identity told through theatre, music, and poetry. Directed by award-winning Director Karen Jambon, this unexpected love story follows the life Vietnamese-American college student Sue Nguyen. Through Sue’s experiences, we explore relationships between Asian and Black communities in America, friendship and strain between men and women of color, ties between immigrant Americans and first-generation Americans, and love between parent and child.

We welcome audience members from all prior shows to return for a special Community talkback following our closing night show on Sunday, March 12, 2017 at 7:30pm.
