KMFA 89.5 is pleased to present a broadcast of Ensemble VIII, performing their joyous season finale “Voices in Celebration,” directed by Dr. James Morrow, with choral gems by Mendelssohn, William Byrd, and Josquin des Prez. The mission of Ensemble VIII is to perform vocal music of the Renaissance and Baroque at the highest artistic level with a keen attention to scholarship and historically informed performance practices. Tune in to hear the highlights of this concert in a special “Listen Local” broadcast hosted byAncient Voices and morning host Sara Schneider.
